This paint sprayer was definitely a hit with my husband.
This paint sprayer was definitely a hit with my husband, the guy who really wanted this and tested it out. The spray gun has a switch to power on/off so it conveniently turns on/off between uses. The 3 brass nozzles are offered to fit on different spray preferences (1.8mm is the best choice for household repair or remodeling indeed). The front nozzle gives you the option to make the paint spray in a horizontal and vertical way depending on the shape and directions of the items. Plus, the knob on the trigger is to control the flow, which is super convenient. When testing out the paint sprayer we found that it sprayed evenly and beautifully and was extremely easy to clean. We also left paint in it for a few days because we were too lazy to clean it out (if I'm being totally honest) just to refill it with the same paint. It didn't affect the spraying at all! When we finally cleaned it out I just used warm, soapy water and a stiff bristle brush and it looks good as new! Please note, you do need to have thinned out paint to get the best use out of this sprayer. With that being said, this is a great pricer at a great price point. It's definitely worth the investment and would work great on both small and large projects!

No costumer service and doesn’t work
Do not Purchase. Sprayer cane out of the box and would not spray. Air would come out but no paint. After thinking the paint to almost water it would spit out. The tip was screwed in so tight it would not loosen. I called the manufacturers and the lube nimber from amazon went fire rly to voicemail. I emailed the customer service and they said they will respond withint 8 hours. I ended up trying to make it work and wasted two house. I riled the shed and will demand a refund.

Need to practice...
Got this today, sanded down an old piece of wood, and thinned the latex paint out to about 28-3 seconds drain time. Used the installed nozzle and tried it. Puts out OK. Found out the thing works better with more paint in the container. I read some reviews that stated the middle 1.8 nozzle works the best. I will have to sand the board down again and try the middle nozzle and practice more. I am re doing my cabinet doors and want a smooth paint finish.....hopefully this works for me.

Not as good results as using a spray can.
The price, motor power and brass tips made me buy this out of the many of cheap Chinese spray guns listed. I wasn't expecting it to produce a professional finish but thought that it couldn't be worse than using spray cans. Firstly I used oil based clear polyutherane. I used the smallest brass tip. The spray gun does not atomize anywhere close to what a spray can achieves. The result was uneven droplets everywhere. So I made the mistake of spraying thicker which resulted in runs. Had to sand it down and resprayed it using spray (aerosol) cans. Way better finish using spray cans, much finer finish. Second attempt was using thinned enamel paint. Again similar problem, large droplets, does not atomize the paint well. Then I left the paint in the in spray gun container overnight. It must have dried in one of the internal passageways. Took the machine apart, cleaned every accessible part (nozel, screw threads, pick up tube, in the passages as far as I could reach). No luck. Part of the passage way cannot be accessed (the gun assembly is sealed together, possibly by glue and the passage ways within this part cannot be reached and cleaned). Result is the machine is now useless. It's probably a good thing as I have wasted a gallon of decent paint using this. Reverting back to brushes for this project. I gave this 2 stars because it did work out of the box and could be useful for certain projects. For example, where a fast application is required, finish is not important, and you plan to complete the project in a day (as it may not work if you allow the liquid to dry).

Best Reviews, Best Product
The reviews are correct on this product. I had no experience using a paint sprayer and I chose this one because of the reviews. The directions that come with it were most likely written by someone with skills in the English language because they are comprehensive and complete. Everything from how to thin the product correctly to how to spray. In some of the reviews you also learn things that happened to other people so you know what to expect and this was very valuable to me as I had no experience. The pictures in the brochure that comes with it are excellent also. I don't think any paint sprayer would be absolutely easy to clean but this one came with everything you need and great instructions. I would suggest putting it together and taking it apart at least once. At one point the tube that sucks up the paint came dislodged but because I had read a review where it had happened to someone else I had no problem knowing what to do and it was easy to remedy. I painted two wicker chairs and they came out perfectly nice. Now, I feel as if it will be even easier next time when I need to paint something. The experience of using it even once give you the confidence to "know" how to handle it and clean it. Oh, by the way the push button for on and off is enough in itself a reason to buy this product. After using it, I can't imagine NOT having this feature. I highly recommend this product.

Broke after the second use!!
If one needs to buy a sprayer, i would recommend going with a different brand. Over the years, i have used many sprayers and this is the worst version i have purchased. It was very difficult to work with and then the pieces wouldn't connect back together. I would recommend buying the Home Right sprayer. It's a lot easier to use and clean.

Can't beat the price for the quality of the results
I've used hvlp and compressor paint systems in the past. I didn't want to buy a compressor big enough to run a sprayer. I figured that I'd give this a try to paint shoe molding and other molding for a house remodel.I didn't thin the paint enough on my first try. The paint came out like flocking. I thinned it down and it worked perfectly. It's easy to clean unlike a traditional HVLP system. It's definitely worth the price.
