General Tools MMD4E Digital Moisture Meter2-Pack

The tool promises a great support for my woodworking hobbie, as well as other jobs on checking moisture on wood for firplace and finding water leaks in the roof. I say "promise" because I haven't use it much, but he gadget works well.Important to say is that, at least for checking moisture in wood, you must make small holes in the lumber (with a hand tool, not the moisture meter) and then check. Otherwise the lecture will be superficial.The manual says that there are different beep sounds to choose from , which I do not think is possible; but it is irrelevant anyway.So far I am happy with it.

Needed it to measure moisture under floor tiles and behind/in sheet rock because I had a large amount of mold

I borrowed a friend's moisture meter and broke off on the sensor pins. Found a two pack at a great price on Amazon.com !!!Now my friend and I both have a new moisture meter for what it would have cost me for One Meter!

I do not know whether It should be used with special skil or not but in anyhow , I did not see its performance on determinning the moisture on woods . For many times I checked it out but the it did not work well . I believe it works with some tricks ! I do not want to use it with extra force on needls because it may broken so sometimes it works fine but the other times do not !
