These moderately hot peppers are the most popular chile peppers in the country. Fruits are perfect for roasting, stuffing, egg dishes, nachos, and (of course) jalapeño poppers. Peppers turn from deep green to red, and get hotter, as they stay on the plant, and may develop a harmless netting pattern on the skin. Heat level may vary from fruit to fruit (even on the same plant), but range from 2,500 to 5,000 on the Scoville scale.

This is my 4th order from Bonnie Plants. I ordered the Romaine Lettuce, Peppermint, Aloe Vera, and now the Jalapeño plants set for my windowsill garden. So far I haven’t had any bad orders from them. Each time everything was nicely and securely packed so minimal dirt was in the bottom of the box. I was scared to order plants off line because I’m afraid of bugs and I get a little anxious when opening the boxes lol but thank god there was no bugs. I’m so happy with my purchase that I ordered the set of tomato plants. I will update on the jalapeño plants as well.
